Accountant

BookMyPet is looking for a hands-on Accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations across our marketplace and SaaS (BookMyPet PRO) businesses. This is not just a data-entry role. We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with suppliers, and able to keep our numbers accurate and management informed.Key Responsibilities - Manage marketplace & SaaS accounting and reconciliations - Prepare supplier statements and process supplier payouts - Manage vendor invoices and payments - Maintain accurate daily QuickBooks entries - Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, supplier balances, receivables and payables - Communicate with suppliers regarding statements, payments and discrepancies - Prepare weekly financial reports for management - Support monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and financial statement preparation - Follow up on outstanding payments, invoices and reconciliation issuesWhat We’re Looking For - Strong hands-on QuickBooks experience — mandatory - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field - Solid accounting, reconciliation and bookkeeping knowledge - Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills - Excellent spoken and written English — mandatory - Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines - Experience in SaaS, marketplaces, e-commerce or technology companies is a strong advantage - We want someone who can own the numbers, spot discrepancies and keep our financial records continuously up to date, not simply enter transactions.
