Discover Impactful Work: Oversees all aspects of management of laboratory operations to one or more sites, departments or regions in global Labs. Ensures productivity, efficiency and quality of the work are maintained and financial objectives of the business are achieved. Oversees the development and implementation of laboratory systems and processes. Ensures client deliverables and needs are met. A Day in the Life: • Oversees the daily operations in the laboratory to ensure compliance with company SOPs, policies and client timelines and deliverables. Directs work responsibilities of laboratory managers/group leaders/research scientists. Provides mentorship, guidance and development to laboratory management and research & development team. • Interacts extensively with sponsors and internal laboratory/support management/research scientists to ensure client deliverables and needs are met. • Procures and allocates personnel, analytical instrumentation, Information Technology, space and other resources to appropriate areas based on business need. • Supports laboratory department in method/instrumentation troubleshooting, laboratory investigations and internal/external conflict resolution. • Collaborates globally to foster cooperation and understanding among the different functional groups within the division.
