Accountant

We are currently hiring a Accountant for a very well known US Company in the construction field. Responsibilities - Enter accounts payable (AP) invoices into TimberScan. - Review AP invoices in TimberScan for accuracy and ensure invoices are assigned to the correct vendor. - Verify that invoice amounts match the amounts entered in the system. - Ensure materials and services are assigned to the correct job. - Ensure materials and services are assigned to the correct job cost code. - Verify that expenses are assigned to the correct general ledger account. - Ensure invoice discount amounts match the discounts entered in the system. - Verify that payment dates match the dates stated on the invoices. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting - Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping - Sage 300 accounting software experience preferred - Timberscan experience preferred - Construction industry experience preferred - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English - Strong organizational skills - Attention to detail
