American Diploma English Teacher

Westview International Language School is seeking a dedicated and experienced American Diploma English Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the American Diploma curriculum to support students' academic achievement and personal growth. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging and effective English language lessons following the American Diploma standards - Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet curriculum objectives and cater to various learning styles - Assess and evaluate student performance regularly through tests, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback - Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and academic excellence - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and contribute to curriculum development initiatives - Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement - Participate in professional development activities to stay current with subject knowledge and teaching methodologies Requirements - Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field - Relevant teaching certification and experience in delivering the American Diploma curriculum - Strong command of English language and literature with the ability to inspire and engage students - Experience teaching high school students preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues - Knowledge of current educational best practices and innovative teaching strategies - Commitment to ongoing professional growth and teamwork Safeguarding Statement: The safety and well-being of our students are our top priorities.
