IT Business Applications Analyst (Oracle) – Finance

Job Responsibilities: Functional Configuration: • Configure Oracle Financials modules, GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management, to fulfil business requirements and align with organizational processes. Technical Development: • Design, develop, unit-test, and deploy technical components including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions (RICE/RICEW), and Workflows using Oracle-standard toolsets. Reporting & Dashboards: • Create and customize complex financial reports and dashboards using Oracle Reports and XML Publisher (BI Publisher), ensuring accuracy and executive-level presentation. Production Support & Troubleshooting: • Provide day-to-day support for Oracle EBS Financials; diagnose and resolve issues, author SQL scripts, and manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) through to resolution. • Analyze and resolve user issues related to financial transactions and system functionality. • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities. Project Lifecycle Participation: • Lead or contribute across all project phases including requirement gathering (RD50), functional design (MD50), technical design (MD70), system integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Stakeholder Collaboration: • Work closely with finance business users, project managers, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into supportable, scalable Oracle solutions. • Participate in ERP enhancement projects and process improvement initiatives. Documentation & Compliance: • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and changes. • Assist in preparing test scripts and user acceptance testing (UAT) documentation. • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and IT governance standards. Job Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field. • Oracle EBS Finance Functional or Technical certification is a plus. • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database development and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance implementations or support engagements • Deep functional understanding of finance processes across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM) Job Location: 10th of Ramadan/New Cairo
