Senior Technical Office Engineer

Job Description Senior Design Engineer Pronox is a leading metal fabrication company specializing in decorative metal works, custom metal fabrication, and metal furniture for hospitality, commercial, and residential projects. We work with a wide range of materials and fabrication processes to deliver high-quality, customized products from design through production. We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and engineering of metal furniture and custom metal fabrication projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed manufacturing drawings, selecting suitable materials and fabrication methods, preparing BOMs, and coordinating with production and other departments to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and production-ready. Responsibilities • Lead the design and engineering of metal furniture, decorative metal works, and customized fabrication projects. • Develop and review detailed 2D and 3D shop drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. • Translate design concepts and client requirements into practical, production-ready designs. • Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) • Determine appropriate materials, fabrication methods, finishes, and assembly techniques. • Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth execution. • Review and approve drawings before releasing them for production. • Provide technical support to the production team and assist in resolving fabrication and assembly challenges. • Guide and support junior designers and engineers and review their drawings. • Ensure that all drawings, BOMs, and technical documents are accurate and properly organized. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related engineering field . • 5+ years of relevant experience in design engineering, preferably within metal fabrication industry. • Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD . • Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes , including laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, grinding, and finishing. • Good knowledge of different metals and materials and their applications. • Strong understanding of manufacturing drawings, tolerances, dimensions, and assembly details. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to review and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Experience supervising or mentoring junior designers is an advantage. Work Location & Working Hours Our factory is located in the 10th of Ramadan City , and the selected candidate will be expected to work on-site. Working hours: Sunday to Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM . The company provides a hot meal daily, as well as transportation from Ring Road and the 10th of Ramadan Ordoneya Station.
